New migration events for Australia & New Zealand announced
Evolve Digital Publishing today announces the launch of its new regional Migration Seminar programme, with the first event being held at the Thistle Hotel, Cardiff on the 11th July, and then in Birmingham on the 19th September.
The boom in UK citizens moving to Australia and New Zealand, attracted by the promise of a new life down under, shows no sign of slowing, despite the worldwide recession. Figures released by Immigration New Zealand yesterday show that the number of Brits making a permanent move to live in New Zealand grew by 17 percent in the year ending March 2009, and Australia had nearly 30,000 migrants in 2008.
The company’s inaugural event, Down Under Live!, held at Earls Court in April, attracted a high quality audience, serious about making a new life in Australasia – 84% of visitors surveyed said that they would migrate within two years. It is expected that the new events, backed by the UK’s best selling migration title, Australia & New Zealand magazine, will deliver an equally high quality audience.
Exhibitor feedback was universally positive; “we had queues of people lining up for advice†said one, while another commented “ we were surprised by the quality of the leadsâ€.
The centrepiece of the new events will be a detailed seminar programme, featuring a wealth of advice on every aspect of migration; from applying for a visa to ensuring your goods are shipped to the right place. A range of industry experts will be on hand throughout the day to answer visitors questions, and an exhibition, featuring a select group of companies covering every aspect of migration will be open to help would be migrants make the move down under.
John Weir, publisher for the Migration Seminars says “ the launch of the Migration Seminars is in response to both our readers and commercial partners. Our readers want very detailed advice on the migration process – preferably without having to travel long distances to get it – and our partners want a high quality audience. These events are the perfect solutionâ€.
The events will be marketed heavily in Australia & New Zealand magazine, its associated websites, and local press. The show will open at 9am, with the seminar programme itself commencing at 10am. Tickets cost £15 per person with subscribers to the magazine given their tickets for half price.
The first migration seminar takes place in Cardiff to coincide with the first match of the Ashes series, and further events are planned in Birmingham at the National Motorcycle Museum  (19th & 20th September) and London (March 2010).
