Opportunities aplenty in New Zealand
New Zealand wants British migrants to help fill crucial skill gaps, and is coming to the UK to recruit workers.
Like many other developed countries, New Zealand lacks a number of skilled workers to help rebuild Christchurch and to help drive its economy. In May, Immigration NZ will lead a contingent of recruiters and provincial enterprise boards to the UK, to take part in Down Under Live – the UK’s biggest event for emigration and jobs downunder.
Over 100 roles are being recruited for, including automotive, construction, IT, transport, skilled trades and others., and marks the biggest presence for New Zealand thus far at the Down Under Live shows.
Visitors to the event will also be able to hear detailed seminars on life in the land of the long white cloud, including housing, schooling, cost of living and much more.
Tickets for the shows, which take place in Birmingham on the 10th & 11th May, and Newcastle (17th & 18th May) cost just £10 in advance, and under 16’s go free.
