Australia set for record British influx
We love Australia ; so much that tens of thousands of Britons will make it their home in the next ten years.
Data from the Department of Immigration and Border Protection reveals Australia is set to receive 290,000 immigrants from the United Kingdom this decade – more than double the arrivals from the 90s.That means that this decade will be the largest number of UK migrants since the 1970s, when more than 400,000 arrived in Oz.
For most migrants, it is the promise of a better life that attracts them to living downunder. Over 300 days of sunshine, verdant wildlife and amazing scenery are all in abundance throughout Australia.
To make your dream move downunder a reality, them make sure you come to the UK’s number one emigration and jobs event – Down Under Live – in London, Birmingham and Glasgow, February 2014.
